HOW DO I GET TO THE VENUE?
Due to space constraints we ask that you take a rideshare or a taxi to the wedding at the Houdini Estate. Click HereIf for some reason you are unable to Uber, Lyft, or take any other car service of your choice to the estate and absolutely need to drive, please contact Jill or Kyle so that we can arrange to have a parking spot reserved for you in advance.Directions: From South of Houdini Estate (West Hollywood, Hollywood, Beverly Hills): head North on Laurel Canyon, the entrance will be on the right side. The entrance has an ornate looking gate, you will enter through here and veer left. If you've hit the stoplight at Lookout Mountain Ave, you've passed it. Simply make a u-turn at this light or on Willow Glen Road. Once you've started heading South on Laurel Canyon it will now be on your left :).From North of Houdini Estate (Studio City, North Hollywood, Valley): head south on Laurel Canyon. Immediately after the Willow Glen Road stoplight, the entrance will be on the left side. The entrance has an ornate looking gate, you will enter through here and veer left. If you've hit the stoplight at Lookout Mountain Ave, you've passed it. The next opportunity to u-turn will be on Jovenita Canyon (left side).
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
The wedding is Cocktail Attire, but please wear what's comfortable for you! Both our ceremony and reception will take place outdooors. Hopefully it will be a beautiful fall day in October, but please plan to bring a jacket as it will cool off at night in the canyon. The Houdini Estate is quite a large venue, with stairs and some uneven surfaces. We recommend that you wear or bring along some comfortable flats for navigating the estate and most importantly for getting down on the dance floor.
THE CEREMONY IS AT 4PM, DOES THAT MEAN I CAN GET THERE AT 3:55?
We kindly ask that guests arrive at least 15 minutes prior to ensure you do not disrupt the ceremony taking place near the dropoff area. In addition, you'll also have time to pick your seats and use the restroom. The restrooms will be located at the top of a large set of stairs so plan accordingly :). If that's not reason enough, guests that arrive early will have time to indulge in light libations -- why not get this party started!?
THERE WASN'T A DINNER OPTION ON MY RSVP - ARE YOU FEEDING US!?
YES! There's not a menu option because we've chosen a family style dinner format to encourage sharing and trying different dishes. This is also how we tend to eat with our own friends & family, and there will be enough food if you don't like sharing :).
